POLICE ON MANHUNT FOR ADABRAKA DAYLIGHT ROBBERS
An elaborate description of how the daylight robbery in Adabraka took place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, was recorded on a Closed-circuit television (CCTV) video.
Even though the robbers wore masks, many believe it could have been an inside job based on the sequence of events shown in the newly released video.
The timing and manner in which the bold thieves targeted the vehicle transporting money to a secret location provide additional clues for security agencies to question both the occupants and the driver of the car.
It should be noted that unidentified armed individuals escaped with money sacks in a daylight robbery at Adabraka Market, causing injury to one person on Saturday.
The residents were shocked as they watched with no ability to intervene during the robbers’ sporadic shooting.
A viral video on social media shows four masked robbers, armed with weapons, assaulting a red Toyota Corolla parked near a bustling market.
As bystanders and passersby ran for safety, several warning shots were fired to scatter them.
Regarding the earlier incident, the police have promised the public that the armed individuals will be apprehended and brought to justice.
A statement from the Ghana Police Service reads” The police are on a manhunt for a gang of armed robbers who attacked a jewellery shop at Adabraka in Accra, Saturday, November 2, 2024, where one person was injured. We would like to assure the public that we will surely get them and bring them to face justice.”
