MENTORING BISHOP OBINIM WAS A WASTE OF TIME — Archbishop Agyinasare
Archbishop Charles Agyinasare revealed his reasons for ceasing to mentor Daniel Obinim, and it was clear from his explanation that he had already made an attempt.
In an interview with Bola Ray, he claimed that Obinim had approached him initially in need of direction and mentoring.
He thought, okay, this is someone he could help and can guide small.
But as time passed, he said that things didn’t turn out the way he had anticipated.
“I thought I could make an impact in his life because he sought me out,” he said.
“But with time, I realised that the water I was pouring was going into a sieve, so I decided to pull back.”
In other words, he didn’t think the effort was really making a difference.
Additionally, he stated that Obinim’s lack of seriousness at one time caused him to withdraw from the entire situation.
