ALL ‘BREAKING NEWS’ ON AGRADAA FALSE – Prison Service
Viral social media rumors claiming events involving Madam Patricia Asiedu, also known as Agradaa, who is presently serving her sentence at the Nsawam Female Prison, have been refuted by the Ghana Prisons Service.
According to viral sources, Agradaa is crying uncontrollably and is physically ill, battling with swollen legs.
According to the testimonies, she receives special treatment from her family physician while inside, at least four times per week.
However, the Service characterized the reports as inaccurate and deceptive in a statement signed by Deputy Director of Prisons Janet Asabea, Director of Public Affairs.
The organization claims that certain social media accounts are purposefully spreading the false information in order to increase their following by utilizing dramatic headlines like “Breaking news from Nsawam.”
The service went on to say that the false information should be ignored since it is an attempt by the operators to generate chaos.
Therefore, when it comes to issues affecting prisoners, the public has been advised to rely solely on official communications from the Ghana Prisons Service.
