Rev. Dr Ebenezer Conduah arrested over an affair with a 17-year-old girl

The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Sam Nartey George, has confirmed the arrest of Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Conduah over offences involving a 1.7 year old girl
According to the minister, the suspect described as a self-styled international marriage counsellor was arrested on March 6, 2026, through a joint operation by the Cyber Security Authority and the Ghana Police Service.

Reports indicate that the arrest followed the discovery of evidence linking the suspect to the abuse of a 1 7-year-old girl over a period of at least four years.

Investigators from the Cyber Security Authority uncovered recordings and online postings connected to international p orographic websites during the course of their investigations.

Following his arrest, Rev. Dr. Conduah was arraigned before a court and has been remanded into custody for three weeks to allow investigators to continue their probe into the matter.

Officials say the ongoing investigation aims to establish the full extent of the alleged offences and identify any additional victim
