Ghanaians Living Abroad Report Fellow Nationals to U.S. Immigration Authorities for Cash Rewards
A shocking revelation has been publicly exposed by a Ghanaian chef living in the United States.
According to him in a self-made video, some Ghanaians abroad are reporting their fellow nationals to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency for a $1500 monetary reward.
In the trending video, the chef expressed disbelief and disappointment that his compatriots would turn against each other for such a meagre sum.
According to him, this practice has contributed to the growing number of deportations among undocumented Ghanaians living in the U.S.
He further linked this intensified deportation agenda to President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigrants, allegedly fueled by an influx of Venezuelans entering the U.S. illegally with firearms.
