GHANA CONFIRMS 18 ADDITIONAL MPOX CASES, BRINGING TOTAL TO 346
18 new Mpox cases have been confirmed, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 346 as per the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
No more deaths have been reported, and there are currently no patients in the hospital; therefore, the death toll stays at one.
The GHS advised the public to stay vigilant, stay away from close contact with anyone exhibiting symptoms, and promptly report suspected instances to the closest medical facility in its previous update on August 7, 2025.
To track contacts and improve the nation’s coordinated response to the outbreak, the Service said it is closely coordinating with its regional directorates.
