“I LIED” – Nana Agradaa Retracts False Allegations Against Empress Gifty and Her Husband
The controversial evangelist, through her lawyers, has publicly withdrawn and apologized for all claims made against the gospel musician in May 2025, admitting they were untrue and made “in the spur of the moment.”
Self-styled evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has formally retracted all allegations she made against gospel musician Empress Gifty, admitting they were false and without merit.
The retraction was issued through her legal firm, Agyaa Asamani Law Consult, on Thursday, December 4. According to lawyer Richard Asare Baffour, the controversial statements made by Nana Agradaa on social media in May 2025 were made “in the spur of the moment” and have now been fully disowned.
In a formal statement, the legal team emphasized that the allegations against Empress Gifty were untrue and should not be given any credibility. Nana Agradaa also issued an “unqualified and sincere apology,” acknowledging the harm her posts caused to the musician’s reputation, personal well-being, and professional career.
The apology extends to Empress Gifty’s family, friends, and colleagues. Her lawyers noted that the retraction aims to restore peace and correct the public record after months of public tension and dispute between the two personalities.
